Unilateral Tb Epididymo-Orchitis with Scrotal Fistula- A Case Report

Tuberculosis is one of the most common worldwide diseases that remain almost unaltered in prevalence for past few years. Genitourinary tract tuberculosis common, but when associated with scrotal fistula it a rare presentation. A 50 years old male came to hospital complaints pricking pain and swelling left side scrotum 2 months. He had history smoking 40 years, on examination size approximately 6x5 cm present scrotum, globular shape; penis pushed right was present, lower part firm hard consistency, cord thickness fixity skin also present. There small fistulous opening no active discharge. Bilateral inguinal lymph nodes were palpable. This case presentation tuberculous epididymo-orchitis leading testis removal. Initially emperical treatment started TB epididymoorchitis which turned unresponsive, so he then proceeded surgery avoid further disease progression. managed radiologically, clinically pathologically. report shows how followed up.Since symptoms are milder compared pyogenic epididymo-orchitis, they appear physicians later advanced stages. should be considered Patients mild mainly those HIV, immunosuppressive conditions endemic areas.
